I’m so glad to have you visit my page. I’ve had an enriching 5+ years of industry experience, and love speaking about Technology, Management, ML and DeFi.

I’ve served as a Technical Program Manager at Turing on the Community Operations Team and Tech Architect at ReflectiveAI. Passionate about Product Management, Web3 and ML. My research interests include Machine Learning, Expert Systems, Image Encryption and Explainable AI.

I’m also dedicated to teaching and mentoring. I’ve served as a Google ExploreML Facilitator impacting 1k+ students and faculties and founded Cognitive Applications Research Lab, to ease the learning curve of students getting into research.

Outside work and academia, I love travel, music, reading and meeting new people!

Some highlights of my role as a Tech PM at Turing Community Operations are:

  • Spearheaded the strategic transition to a new email delivery platform, increasing overall performance by over 30%
    • Undertook a current-state assessment to identify challenges within the existing email platform and strategy.
    • Owned requirements specification, vendor comparison and contract negotiation.
    • Provided the technical expertise and solutioning skillsets to successfully move to the chosen provider.
    • This resulted in better tracking and targeting, significantly higher open, click rates and much better overall email performance.
  • Owned all Data Dashboards and Reporting for Turing Community
    • Managed 5+ detailed custom dashboards, so event organizers and executives always have the data they need at their fingertips.
    • Enabled high priority fast-paced executive reporting, solving numerous challenges with data contamination and improper upstream records.
  • Drove the transition of Turing Community Signup flow, which comprised the coordination of 2 external partners and Turing Engineering.
    • Managed smooth and timely communication among all stakeholders.

In about a month of joining, I was promoted to a more technical role in the newly formed Operations Team within Turing Community.

  • Automated repetitive tasks like downloading event recordings from an external vendor, image/video processing and data ETL, freeing 100+ work-hrs/month.
  • Managed external vendor partnerships, during and after onboarding them.
    • Single Point of Contact for all Community platform related queries.
    • Resolved issues faced by various event Organziers reducing outages.
    • Set up ETL pipelines and processes for data ingestion.

  • Ensured smooth Event Planning, Organization and Moderation for 10+ events, like Developer Townhalls, AMAs and Fireside Chats within a month of joining.

Gold Medal recipient for Research, among 5000+ students and research scholar from the Dept of CSE, for the presentation of the paper, “An efficient analyses of the Behavior of 1D Chaotic Maps using 0-1 Test and Three-State Test”.

Leading the ExploreML program for Google AI, at SRM University, I conducted 10+ workshops in and around Chennai and taught Machine Learning to 1000+ students and faculties. I was one of the 50 facilitators selected for this program’s maiden Bangalore team and one of the 130 selected all over the country. I was also one of the top 20 facilitators whose projects were showcased in ExploreML Bootcamp in Hyderabad.

  • Online Handwriting Recognition for Indic low-resource languages like Bengali, from pen-up pen-down data

  • Amongst the first 50 students piloting Google’s Explore ML program.
  • Impacted 1000+ students and faculties in and around Chennai, through numerous workshops and online sessions.
  • Covered introductory to advanced topics, from foundational statistics to scalable cloud deployment scenarios.

3566 students from 76 countries completed ~21k tasks with 29 FOSS orgs in 2019.

  • Mentored 13-18-year olds in their first steps in Open Source at Google CodeIn with TensorFlow.
  • Created quizzes, programming tasks like classification and object detection, focusing on TF2.0
  • It was the first time for TensorFlow in GCI and the closing edition of GCI itself.

  • Designed 6-DoF Stewart platform from scratch taking care of Coding and Electronic components, and other projects.
  • Designed Image Acquisition and SLAM for Automatic Bot and Drive Control for Manual Robot for AbuRobocon 2018.
